One With Nature
Went on a long walk today by the beautiful Ashokan Reservoir. It was absolutely freezing but I needed to get out of my house and brave the cold! I've been a little MIA lately. Haven't posted to my blog in a long time and here are the two reasons why.
1. Blogging isn't my full time job at the moment. I have my own marketing company that specializes in branding and online presence. So I am constantly online and really needed to unplug.
2. I wasn't inspired and felt like I was just going through the motions. It was very touch and go. I wasn't putting effort into it and lost the 'fun' in it all.
I really took this week to think about why I started this blog. It was expressing about myself while living in New York City. Applying what I learned about craft beer, fashion and just everything else.... and putting it into a blog. So I moved to Upstate NY in the 'Brooklyn' area of the Catskills. It's cool but yeah way different than NYC. So I became re-inspired and now want to document the reinvention of myself up here. I want to start documenting my life, not always in photoshoot form. So you will be seeing more things on my blog that may not even have to do with craft beer, or fashion. I want to make it my own and focus on what I love right there in that moment. K I'm rambling!!! Anyway, I appreciate whoever comes to this page and reads it. When I went MIA I came back to this awesome article in Mens Health highlighting the Top 30 Beer Instagrammers and I was in it. That was a sign to me. I was like, dude get back into this thing! People actually give a shit (maybe). Cool cool cool. So here I am (again) lol...
Anyway, this stroll helped me clear my head. I chilled out in my Uniqlo vest, Sperry Duck Boots and with a Bear Naked Amber Ale from Adirondack Pub & Brewery. I didn't want to drink think on my walk by the Ashokan because it's pretty heavily policed lol It's actually NYC's water source so obviously they are strict! I enjoyed it back at my house and it was delicious. It was like hops drizzled in caramel.
